Mini Shoot. ft. Jules

Last Friday, I shot a few pictures of my best friend. I had wanted to take them earlier in the day, but sometimes plans don't always work out. Nevertheless, I got to take them just as the sun set, which I always feel has the best lighting. It was a simple shoot, but I think those are the ones I love the most. Maybe they aren't perfectly planned? Maybe I don't have my tripod or the right lens; hell I had forgotten my SD card, but I improvised.

With shoots like this I always come out with pictures I am proud of and want to share with everyone. With photographs I always want to have some type of vision of what you want the final product to look like and what I want people to get from it, whether it be planned or not. It's isn't just pose, shoot and post. It's an art I take seriously and the results I get from it empower me to take even more pictures that tell a story, or just give off some type of feeling.
With this shoot I wanted to give off the feeling of winter approaching and the leaves that have already fallen. 

I took these at the park near my house, so I didn't need to go to far to make this photo shoot happen. I love the contrast in the colors and the feel of the coolness, but warmth from the red.

I feel like all you really needed to make any photo shoot happen is a camera and a vision. Sometimes that can easy, other times not so much. With this shoot, it was quite successful.

I have lots planned for this month, and my hope is to keep up blogging.
