Series: Diaphanous; light, translucent and delicate

This series, Diaphanous was a new approach for something similar I had tried last year. This year I was able to use my new lens, and my tripod to come out with crisper and focused shots. This time around the vision of what I wanted came out exactly how I had imagined.

I love the lighting, of course this I made the Christmas light a secondary focal point and the girl the main.

To mean there's a story book feel to theses photos, she is very calm and comfortable. I love the lights, coziness and overall feeling of this series of photographs. I believe in order to take a good series of photos, even if it is or isn't meant to be one;  you want your subject to be comfortable or just the setting overall to feel serene and calm.
To feel comfortable with what your taking pictures off, you have to have fun, joke around and laugh a little. This shoot was full if laughs, silliness, and a great story I will always be able to. That's the best part of photography, making new art and memories.

I hope you all enjoyed, I have much more coming soon!
Next week is finals...ha. Can't wait. Hope everyone had a wonderful week. Tomorrow is Friday!
Talk to you all soon!
