Hello November; Be ThankFul, Be Kind, Be Generous.

Hello November! I'm a few days late on this post, But I wanted to do it! So here I am. :) This month it going to be a very hectic month for me, but before I get into all of the craziness lets talk about what this month is all about! I feel this month is about being thankful. Being thankful, for what you have, a job or an education, family and friends, and a roof over you head. There are a lot of people in our world that don't have much, or don't even have a mom or a dad, or an education for that matter. We are very grateful as people for everything that we have, and maybe sometimes take for granted. We should recognize things that are materialistic (Clothes, shoes, electronics) don't really matter, but the little things like brothers and sisters, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and spending time with friends in family. This month be thankful, be kind and be generous.

This month I am so very thankful that I am able to go on a trip with my Deca class to another state (first time ever), which is actually coming up this week! At the beginning of the this month I was able to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family, it was so amazing, and I love them so much. Yes this month is already very busy, but I have to stop for a moment, take it all in and be thankful.

This month I wanted to recommend just a few items from hair care to clothes, so everyone's November is amazing!
A hair product that I have loved using to add definition, and make it look as if I had beach waves, Is Got2B; Beach Trippin'.
This product is amazing, and it smells so good! I have used this before putting loose curls in my hair, the adding in a bit after or after undoing a braid from the night before, spraying the product in and wearing that way. It makes any type of wave/curl instantly come to life! The only thing I would stay cautions about is to not go overboard and spray to much. This product is salt-infused, so this can hurt/damage your hair , if you do go crazy. When using this product either spray on damp, or wet hair. Dry is alright, it just won't take absolute full affect, but will add some definition to your hair. Next, I have to recommend an eyeliner and lipstick. First, the eyeliner is just for tight lining and as well lining your water line. It is CoverGirl- Ink it! Mine is in #230 black ink. I had been needing a new eye liner and when I saw this one, I wanted to test it out and see how the eye liner was. The liner has great pigmentation, doesn't smug (which is a plus!) and last up 6 hrs. I would say if your are needing a new eye liner, or wanting to try something new, I would definitely purchase this one.
Now, on to the lipstick! I have been looking for nice dark plum lipstick for fall/winter. I had been watching few YouTube videos about great fall/winter lipstick. I came across one video that talked about the Milani Lipstick; #21 Sangria.
At first I was skeptical about how dark it was, but once I swatched at the store, in person the color was so vibrant and pretty. I love wearing it an mixing the color with another dark maroon lipstick that I own. A very nice staple lipstick for this month indeed! Going along with lip products I also very recently purchased a lip "shine" from Bath and Body works. I have purchased lip products from there before, my regular is a lemon lip shine, that does wonders moisturizing your lips. I thought I would try different lip shine, and see how it was, this one is "Cinnamint Supreme 2X".
It is so affective on the lips, its amazing. The cinnamon really adds something and really replenishes your lips, the mix of cinnamon and mint, perfect! The combination is so great for the lips and has helped them so much, since it has been so chilly and dry. Time for the jewelry! I just have one or two small items to share. My first piece is a ring that I had bought for my birthday. The ring is from Forever 21, I guess you could say a statement ring, It is a bow, and in the middles a cluster of diamonds (fake of course).
This ring really adds to a causal or a dressy outfit. :) I have worn it a bit to school and people have loved it, so if any of you pop in to forever 21 maybe look, for bow rings or a type of statement ring to add to an outfit. My other piece of jewelery is also from my birthday. I feel bracelets are key factors in outfits. Whether you have a watch or bracelet they add to the outfit. The bracelet is a simple gold color, that has ropes you could say that are intertwined amongst each other, all through the bracelet. While I was in Forever 21, they have quite a few elegant and simple pieces, that are really suitable for fall and winter.

Finally, I have acquired a few new scents, a perfume and a candle! First is the perfume! I bought it from Victoria Secret, PINK. The scent is "Warm and Cozy". The perfume is a mix of vanilla and peony. It smells indeed of vanilla and a hint of flowery/fruity smell. (If that makes sense.) It is so delicious! Next is the candle. I feel this candle is the definition of fall.
It's a great transition candle from fall to winter. The candle scent is called "Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin" from Bath and Body works. I recommend this if you are looking for a nice pumpkin/cinnamon candle, if so...this is the one for you! ;)

Book Three: City Of Glass, Currently Reading!

Now finally, aside from beauty. I have a book series to recommend to all of you. Now, if any of you are into vampire/werewolves/Immortals/Magic and such I have a series for you! It is a series of 6 books, called "The Mortal Instruments" By: Cassandra Clare.
The Mortal Instruments- Books (1-5)
  1. City of Bones
  2.  City of Ashes
  3.  City of Glass
  4. City of Fallen Angles
  5.  City of Lost Souls
  6.  City of Heavenly Fire (May 2014, Final Book)
The book I feel is like a mash up of immortals/mortals, bits and pieces of warlocks/magic, vampires and werewolves. The main aspect are shadow hunters, which are mortal beings. The story would take quite a bit to explain. So getting to the point, the first books is "The City of Bones", which was also made in to a movie, and recently came out in early August. I haven't seen the movie quite yet, because at the time I was in the midst of reading the first book. Currently I am almost half way into the third book, and all I have to say is....BRILLIANT.
These books are so incredible, I can never put it down. Once in a while I find books like this, and once I do..well I am Immediately sucked in! Once this happens, you know you have a great book/series, that takes over your life...haha not really. ;) I really do recommend these, even if you don't like vampire/werewolves, they aren't that big of an aspect in the series. So, any of you that are interested, or might be just go buy the first book if you like, then Yay!! If not, then this book just wasn't your cup of tea. Just coming from me, I seriously love this series and I hope to finish the rest of the books by the new year, then wait very patently for the 6th book to come out in May 2014!! Ahh, I am so very excited! :)
I hope everyone's November is one to treasure, next month is the last month of 2013, so make every day, every moment count. This November, be thankful, be kind and be generous. :) I will talk you all very soon!
Xoxo,
Jacqueline
